Too many twisties too little time

If you know me well enough you'll know that I'll attempt to plan every spare second of this trip. I want to see it all!!!!!!!! I want to know what's the most effective way to hit as many twisting road and see as many waterfalls, dams and look out point as possible? Well this nearly impossible because of the abundance of beautiful roads up there, I'm trying my best to not be anal about it after all it's a vacation not a project or a race. I'll admit that is something that I struggle with. After doing some searching, this resources was suggested and it's been by far the best reference tool I've come across. It's a Northern Georgia back road map ****heaven****! Those of you that ride understand that the less time on the super slabs the better, besides you can't really enjoy many waterfalls from the highway!

Here is the link to map... It's literally someone local that took the time to map it and indicate restaurants, look out points, hospitals, motorcycle shops, camp grounds etc...

Let's just do it!

After realizing that we had a long weekend just around the corner and the kids being away, we decided it would be the perfect time to escape on the motorcycles. After contemplating various destinations for a few minutes, our selection was clear. Our adventure will take us approximately 800 miles north to a majestic mountain range full of exciting twists and turns for adventurous riders. We made reservations at "Two Wheels Only" camp ground and resort, an establishment catering to the traveling bikers. It's located in a city locals refer to as "The Valley Above the Clouds" mapquest however calls it Suches, Georgia.

Stay tuned... The adventure begins July 3rd just before dawn.
